Planting Season

planting season featured

As spring has sprung, it is time for rebirth in our cycle around the sun. As the days get longer and warmer, we feel ourselves drawn back out into the garden. The earth is warming, and it is time to start sewing the seeds for this year’s first crop. Radishes, snow/sugar peas, turnips, carrots, lettuce, and kale are ready to be planted outside. Some of our favorite herbs, including thyme, rosemary, marjoram, and oregano, can be sown indoors along with all your peppers.

As we look into this new year, now is the time also to look inward and sow the seeds you want to sprout inside yourself. Life is a cycle full of death and rebirth made of many different circles of varying span and size. What may once have served you may not serve you any longer. Taking a deep look inside and asking what do I want from this amazing year to come find peace in knowing you don’t need to know what is upon you but only how you are prepared. Every day is anew. Cherish it and find peace in knowing you are right where you are supposed to be at the beginning of a new cycle sowing the seeds to come.
