It’s All About Who You Know

Networking

“It’s not always what you know, but who you know. Get out and meet people.” –Kimora Lee Simmons

Networking is key to success for any individual. It really is all about who you know. You can have a plethora of information, ideas, or products in store, but with no one to build upon that in either the consuming or producing side, it’s all useless. Not to say that one can’t succeed alone. It is possible, sure. But having a community around you to give advice, help with marketing and to lend a helping hand in any way is super beneficial to any entrepreneur, or any individual, really. Especially the start ups.

It’s important that we take into account the value of our networking communities. Some of the best advice I could have ever received was: “Make sure you meet as many people as you possibly can…” You never know who you’re going to meet, and you never know where those new relationships could take you. Whether you’re reaching out to help, seeking help, or just building connections and relationships, networking offers opportunity and helps you to help others.

Networking
Global Community

Community is where we find purpose. It’s where we find our role, our niche. Without others life is pretty much pointless. So, it’s a rather delightful blessing to be blessed with the presence of others in our lives, especially those who share the same values and ideas as us. This way, we can see different points of view. We can point people we meet to services or products we are connected to. Not to mention the seemingly endless amount of advice, support and help from our fellow networkers.

Networking is essential to any society. When people have a desire to help others, others will naturally help them. This keeps society as a whole moving forward. It’s almost like an unspoken quid-pro-quo: The rewards may not always be something tangible like money or gifts, but there are unseen rewards in helping anyone along the way, when our intentions are in the right place.

Whatever business field in which you may find yourself, there’s always room to advance, and there’s always an opportunity to help someone else along their journey. Our relationships account for a great lot of success we have, in all aspects of our lives, not just financially. When you sow the seeds of integrity into your relationships, they always come to fruition.
